History Praxis am Kreuzberg

According to oral tradition, it was Dr. Leuschner, who founded the first ” Praxis am Kreuzberg ” at Katzbachstraße 17 in the 1970s after fleeing from the GDR to the West- clawed to the chassis of a truck. Then, Dr. Leuschner moved the practice to Katzbachstraße 13. In the early 1990s, Dr. Schlachta, a colleague of Dr. Leuschner’s from their East Berlin times was handed over the Practice. In 2006, Gabriele Fahrbach took over the practice and managed it until 2021.

Couple of moves later, due to the building substance problems we were back in Katzbachstraße 2. Since then we can welcome you again in our premises.

We thank all patients who remained loyal to us during the period of renovation. And we thank the owner of Katzbachstraße 26, who rented us the shop on the ground floor. Without this offer, the existence of the practice would have been in question.

In January 2022, Dr. med. univ. Thomas Bode. took over the practice.
